Written by Sur and fellow Colombian Juan Carlos Garay, the Café International song, "El Seto" (The Bush), was inspired by a dream in which legendary Peruvian singer Chabuca Granda sang Garay the first verse of this song. It explores nature's cycles through South American rhythms, blending Colombian guabina, Peruvian zamacueca, and Argentinian cueca and features instruments such as ronroco, a small guitar and cajón, an Afro-Peruvian box drum. “The bush is burning in the heat of the bonfires / And I know it will bloom in future springs / The water rises to the sky under the sun of the marshes / To return to the earth when the downpours fall.”
"Se Dice por Ahí" (They Say) is a delicate and expressive jazz track, blending airy vocals with a gentle, flowing arrangement. Showcased on Putumayo's Jazz World, the song’s soft guitar, subtle percussion, and warm melodic phrasing create an intimate, smooth atmosphere with a touch of nostalgic charm. The lyrics reflects on love, longing and the struggle between societal expectations and personal desires. “And they say that it’s not my time to love / That my turn has already gone with the wind towards the sea / That my life remains the same, that I shouldn’t breathe.”
