Belgian composer singer and songwriter Annie Sureda formed Sureda to explore her passion for music from around the globe. After performing around Brussels, the band’s musical trajectory changed when multi-instrumentalist and musical arranger Gwenael Micault joined the group, bringing flavors of Celtic and French folk into the mix. After being invited to Mexico for a residency, Sureda moved there, adding several Mexican musicians to the group. Blending inspirations from Latin America, the Mediterranean and the Celtic World, Sureda has released two albums and performed at many international festivals.

On the gentle "Cantos de Ella" (Songs of Her), Annie Sureda sings poetically of love and nature. "Oh, how the morning sings / Your hope of yesterday / Oh how your dreams cry / On the path of my life / The rains are undressing bits of truth / And the sirens are coming out / Lost songs of love."
