The song “Húyanle a las culebras” (Flee from the Snakes) sounds like it could have come from a 1940s Cuban album. This song uses mystical lyrics to evoke surreal themes of power, protection, and ritual. “I am the past that a bird saw / All its charm and the roar of a lion / I am true to all my strength, my nature / Subtlety that awakens intuition.”
