Featured Songs:
The lyrics of Mira Zoff’s Global Indie song “Dans tes yeux” (In Your Eyes) reference a classic album by French legend Serge Gainsbourg and convey a sense of surrender and being utterly consumed by an intense personal bond. “When I drown in you, I only see you / And it’s your soul that resonates to the sound of Melody Nelson / When I drown in you, it's stronger than me / Apart from you, there is no one else.”
The Café Europa song,“Je pleure sur du vent” (I Cry Over the Wind), has a sparse, melancholic sound led by a delicate piano and emotional, breathy vocals. This song expresses deep sorrow and emotional emptiness in the aftermath of a painful loss or betrayal. “I cry over the wind / Yes, I cry over the wind / Over ashes / An illusion / A false pretense / Yes, I cry over the wind / Winding paths / Of feelings / Nonexistent.”
