Born in Lisbon, Madalena Palmeirim is a versatile singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, musician, and sound designer. Her musical journey began with the piano, but her innate curiosity and passion for exploration led her to become a self-taught musician of various instruments. Her solo work reflects a rich tapestry of influences gathered from her experiences between Portugal and Cape Verde. In 2015, Madalena released her first EP "Mondays," followed by her debut album "Right as Rain" in 2019. Building upon her success, she recently put out her second album, "Morna Mansa," in 2024. Each of her releases showcases her ability to seamlessly blend genres and languages, creating a captivating and immersive musical experience for her listeners.
