
Iragrett Diolizângela Gomes Tavares, known as Iragrett Tavares, is a multifaceted artist from the West African country of Guinea-Bissau. Born in 1982, she is a singer, composer, dancer, and actress celebrated for her unique vocal timbre and vibrant smile. Iragrett gained prominence in 2002 after her standout performance at the Cambadjú inter-regional festival and winning the national carnival queen contest. She has been part of notable Guinean music groups like Badjudas di Tabanca and Banda Mantambeza and performed with the National Ballet of Guinea-Bissau. Now based in Luxembourg, Iragrett has shared stages with international artists across Europe and Africa. Currently, she is preparing her debut solo album, recorded in Verona, Italy, and has released promotional tracks on YouTube. Her music reflects her rich cultural journey and artistic versatility.
