Putumayo Kids has contributed to many non-profits doing good work in regions where the music originates. For the past years, Putumayo Kids has focused its non-profit efforts on various local as well as international NGOs working in different parts of the world. We intend to keep on supporting these organizations and other specific NGOs working in the countries where the music originates. We are pleased to support the following charitable organizations.

Axé Project
Established in 1990 in the city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, the Axé Project is an internationally renowned non-profit organization dedicated to educating and defending the rights of disadvantaged children and promoting the cultural development of children and laborers. European Federation for Street Children
The European Federation for Street Children (EFSC) is a Brussels-based non-profit organization committed to the improvement of the rights and situations of street children in Europe and beyond. The EFSC acts as a platform for lobbying and advocacy towards the European Union and provides NGOs committed to this cause with information and advice concerning youth-related policies and assistance programs of the EU. Genesis Foundation
The Genesis Foundation strives to give disadvantaged children in Colombia and in Latino communities in the United States the opportunity for a successful future through access to the quality education they are too often excluded from. By funding non-profit organizations that provide quality education and complementary health services to underserved children, Genesis seeks to give these youngsters the basic building blocks for their development. Jamaica Basic Schools Foundation
Jamaica Basic Schools Foundation (UK) is a registered charity established in 1995 to assist children attending basic schools in Jamaica, by providing facilities for their education and recreation and for the training and development of teachers. Over the past 10 years it has assisted many schools and resource centers throughout the island with capital works, school feeding programmes, computers and photocopiers, books and teaching aids. NextAid is a non-profit organization committed to developing and implementing innovative solutions to the challenges facing African children. PACT
Parents And Children Together (PACT) is one of Hawaii's leading private non-profit family service agencies.
